UUMC Youth Missions

UUMC and Out of Love Youth Ministries is proud to have had 17 participants on the 2009 Mission Trip! Each year the youth of UUMC travel to meet with 400 other youth and leaders from around the country in order to share the love of Christ with others. We stay in close quarters for one week as we serve the surrounding community. We spend time in worship, fellowship, and service as we repair the homes of local residents. Youth Brunch! Nov. 6th, Prep. Nov. 5th at 1 PM. Volunteers Needed!
Our annual Football Parking fundraiser took place Nov.21st against Penn State. We raised nearly $600!

Our Mission Team of 9 drove to the hills and rivers of Smithers, WV June 28 through July 5 with the Group Workcamps Foundation. There we met 400 youth from states across the nation and formed 64 work crews (6 people/crew). We worked on and completed 57 homes that needed our time, love, and care. It was an amazing experience and our youth had a wonderful time and weren't ready to come home at the end of the week! Check out some photos below!
